This vessel was created using reclaimed wood harvested locally.
The contrasting density in the wood presented by the growth rings allows for heavy texturing.
The wood was turned semi-wet in order to allow natural movement during the drying process.
Water based pigments were used to highlight the character of this sometimes overlooked timber.
This piece measures 7.5"tall x 6" in diameter.
