With its wide, gently flared rim and subtle footed base, this cherry bowl feels refined yet inviting. The dark, smooth exterior is finished with layers of milk paint that reveal just enough of the grain beneath, while the inside glows with the warm richness of natural cherry wood.
The wood came from a cherry tree on a small farm in western Wisconsin. After it died and had to be removed, we reclaimed the material and turned it into something meant to last—quietly beautiful and functional. 
Its clean silhouette makes it a natural fit for modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist interiors—bringing warmth and texture to clean lines and open spaces. Whether used for serving or left empty as a sculptural centerpiece, it offers presence without excess.
