The sides are hand-carved with a bold diagonal texture, finished in a soft green, food-safe milk paint that brings out the surface detail while allowing the grain to subtly show through. The interior glows with the warmth of natural sugar maple—smooth, golden, and full of life.
The wood comes from an old sugar maple tree near Lake Michigan that had to be removed. Reclaimed and reimagined, it’s now a vessel of both form and function—grounded in its origins, made to be part of daily life.
Its upright shape makes it especially suited for farmhouse, rustic, or organic modern interiors. Whether used for serving fruit or salad, or standing alone as a sculptural accent, this bowl brings both color and calm to the room.
