It was turned from a white oak tree that once stood in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The tree had died and needed to be taken down, but its story didn't end there. Now, that same tree continues on in this bowl—solid, steady, and meant to last.
The bowl’s wide rim and low, balanced profile give it a sculptural strength. It feels reassuring in the hands—substantial yet refined, with textures that invite both touch and contemplation.
